Friday Night Lights Scorecard

It might be hard to believe, but Friday Night Lights is coming to Columbus, Ohio. Ohio State and Urban Meyer will host the initial evening camp inside the stadium Friday. Several top names are expected to attend, including prospects that could eventually sign with the Buckeyes.

Friday Nights Lights will debut at Ohio State within 24 hours, and it has been long overdue. Urban Meyer has brought the recruiting extravaganza with him from Florida, and for Ohio State fans it's time to get your popcorn ready.

First up are the 2013 prospects, and there are seven seniors attending that could end up in the current recruiting class.

Tyquan Lewis: Is the defensive end/linebacker coming to commit? He has a firm offer and does not need to work out. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE? Very strong.

Devon Allen: The wide receiver DOES need to be at Ohio State to earn his offer, so this will be one to watch closely. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE? Gotta get the dance invite before you can shake it with the pretty girl.

Dennis Finley: Does not need to work out, and may not do so. Doubtful he's coming to commit, but hopefully Kirk Barton is his host once again. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE: Either Ohio State or Michigan State.

Shelton Gibson: Has been underground lately, so there are more questions than answers with this one. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE? If he does what he needs to do off the field he's IN.

Christopher Worley: Does he have to work out? No. Is he going to be in the class? Yes. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE? See above.

Donovan Munger: They want Munger. Does Munger want Ohio State? We could find out soon. ODDS OF BEING A BUCKEYE: Tough to call, but I have Ohio State the leader in the clubhouse.

Tim Gardner: The offensive lineman did well at Ohio State's earlier camp, but they would not accept his commitment. He needs to do more this time around. ODDS OF BEING BUCKEYE? If you offer him, he will come.

Just as important, possibly more important, are the 2014 prospects heading to Columbus to show off their wares in front of the Buckeye coaching staff.

Some of the top prospects in America will be on-hand, including many with firm offers.

Raekwon McMillan: The Georgia linebacker is one of the primary needs in 2014, and this one is trending the Buckeyes direction.

Clifton Garrett: The Illinois linebacker would go together with McMillan like Fred and Ginger. Another one trending toward Columbus.

Davonte James: An Ohio native of Springfield, and a linebacker that should not be overlooked. James can play.

Caleb Henderson: A return trip for this top quarterback prospect. Is a Buckeye offer forthcoming? Would not surprise after seeing him earlier at camp.

Joey Duckworth: This is Bill Murray's Cinderella story coming out of Louisville, Ohio. A quarterback that blew up at Ohio State's camp this summer, and a future Big Ten recruit.

Drew Barker: Yet another stud 2014 quarterback prospect, and another return trip to Ohio State.

DeShone Kizer: A dual-threat quarterback from Toledo Central Catholic, and a player with multiple offers.

Thaddeus Snodgrass: One of the few in-state juniors with a Buckeye offer, the Springfield athlete is special.

Dareian Watkins: Multi-talented athlete out of Galion (OH), and a player that impressed last month at Ohio State's camp.

Artavious Scott: A wide receiver prospect out of Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Ethan Wolf: top tight end prospect from Minster (OH), and a return visitor.

Jacob Betschel: Will attend, but not work out. The Jackson (OH) junior tight end was injured at Ohio State's camp, but was impressive prior to getting hurt.

Darius West: A safety out of Lima Central Catholic. Being offered by Ohio State is a question of "when", not "if."

Damon Webb: Out of Detroit Cass Tech, and one of the top overall performers at the recent underclass camp. Great cornerback prospect.

RaShaan Gaulden: Defensive back out of Tennessee, and a prospect with a great early offer list.

Kyle Trout: Excellent offensive tackle prospect out of Lancaster, Ohio.

Nick Richardson: Offensive lineman from Westerville Central.

Nathaniel Devers: Guard prospect out of Massillon, and quite possibly the top junior offensive lineman in the state.

K.C. McDermott: Great looking offensive lineman out of Palm Beach, Florida. Has a great early offer list, including Ohio State.

Jamarco Jones: An Illinois offensive lineman, and one with an Ohio State offer. Return trip to Columbus.

Skylar Hartley: A flat-out pitbull lineman out of Hilliard Bradley, and one who impressed at Ohio State's camp in June.
