Dillard and Dawson talk UF Official

The Florida Gators had numerous top prospects visit this past weekend as they hosted Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Marcell Harris, Cameron Dillard and David Dawson all took official visits to the University of Florida for this national showdown. Dillard and Dawson talked about the visit.

Cameron Dillard has been a Gator commitment since early April and is very close friends with David Dawson. They have the same trainer, live in Michigan and have high interest in the Gators. This was the first experience for David Dawson in the swamp but for Dillard it was simply more of the same. Dillard is the third ranked Center prospect in America out of Canton (MI) Plymouth Canton High School and talked about his visit.

"Expectations were high and they were fulfilled, Garcia was my host and we hung out all weekend and it was great. Game was awesome and I Loved the experience and watching them watch out of the tunnel it gave me chills and knowing next year that will be me definitely got me pumped up. This is awesome man knowing I am going to be down on that field with my boys so I am looking forward to it. It's been awesome and I totally enjoyed it and I can't thank the coaches enough for this opportunity."

For David Dawson this was his first trip to the University of Florida and with that came his first opportunity to meet the Florida coaches in person. It was exactly what Dawson needed to see. He is currently ranked as the 8th best offensive guard according to scout.com and checks in at 6'4 290-pounds from Detroit (MI) Cass Technical High School.

"It was cool and I got down here with Cam and I got to meet the coaches face to face so that was cool and the game and environment was crazy. The best part was the game. It was what I expected so nothing changed for me really. I am definitely not doing anything this week."
