Snodgrass Slows Things Down

Monday night Springfield (Ohio) wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass looked ready to give his verbal commitment a week from Friday. Wednesday night Snodgrass slowed things down just a little bit and we have the latest on the FOXSportsNEXT.com four-star 2014 prospect.

Monday night all things pointed towards Springfield (Ohio) wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass favoring Ohio State over Notre Dame, Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

With a tweet the FOXSportsNEXT.com four-star receiver stated a commitment announcement at his high school would come next Friday.

After discussing things over with those close to him the 6-foot-2, 175-pound receivers decided to slow things down to give himself a few extra days before making such an important life decision.

"I think I'm going to hold off until I take a visit to Notre Dame," said Snodgrass by phone late Wednesday night. "I'm going to wait and take a visit for their game against Pittsburgh.

"I'm going up early that Friday so I can see their pep rally and everything else before making my decision."

While Snodgrass is still looking to make a decision the week following his visit he is also open to taking his time before giving his oral pledge.
