"I was sort of expecting the offer from Ohio State," Morgan said. "And what really stands out to me is just their overall program and I like their stadium."
Morgan has previously said that early playing time would factor into his decision. What has the Buckeye staff told him about getting on the field early?
"They told me that I will have to work for that one and to start," Morgan said. "So they didn't say your going to play early but they told me that if I do start then it will be because I worked for it."
Morgan found out about his newest offer in a pretty low key way.
"My coach told me that I had the offer," Morgan said. "And I heard a rumor that they might stop by the school sometime soon."
He added, "Mike Vrabel is recruiting me from Ohio State."
Morgan says he has largely put recruiting on hold throughout the playoff season, as Crete Monee advanced to Saturday's IHSA quarterfinal round by beating Peoria Richwoods.
"Actually, I have not watched a football game in a week or two now," Morgan said. "The playoffs have been on Saturdays so I haven't gotten a chance to watch anything. If I'm not watching film for the playoffs, I am doing something to prepare."
He continued, "We are currently undefeated and we are just worrying about the playoffs."
Even though Morgan hasn't spent much time worrying about recruiting -- it certainly hasn't slowed up at at all.
Morgan took a peek into his mailbox while talking to FOXSports NEXT.
"Let me just check my mail I have stuff from UCLA, Cincinnati, Washington, Georgia has been sending me a lot of mail," Morgan said as he continued sorting through letters. "I have gotten some from Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss."
He continued with a laugh, "There are a lot more but I'll stop flipping through."
