Visits and Playoffs for Harmon

Toledo Central Catholic (Ohio) junior offensive lineman Zach Harmon talks about his last few visits and his team's big playoff run.

Toledo Central Catholic has a team full of talent this year, including 6'4, 265-lb offensive lineman Zach Harmon, a junior who is hearing from a number of BCS programs, including Northwestern, who he recently visited.

"I really liked the campus. It's pretty much dead center in the neighborhood, and it's along the lake, so it's pretty cool. The game experience was real nice. The stadium was pretty much full and they support their hometown team. I liked it. I talked to a few recruiting coordinators. They said keep in contact and send film."

Harmon has also visited Ohio State, a trip he says was one to remember.

"I went for the Illinois game. That was amazing. It was one of best experiences of my life. I got to go down on the field. We had first row seats, and being behind the offensive line's bench, we could hear what they were saying and got a good feel for what it'd be like. Coach Fickell, Coach Gillum, and a few other coaches talked to me."

Harmon camped at Ohio State along with Toledo. He has also visited Akron and most recently, Cincinnati.

His next few weekends should be busy though, as his team is one win away from the state title game.

"Our season so far has been awesome. We had one down week. That wasn't us out there playing, but other than that, our offense has been dominant, our defense has been dominant. We've been preparing well."

Harmon made first team All-District this year.
