DE Ebenezer Ogundeko Profile
The three-star outside linebacker, who's being recruited to Clemson as a defensive end, arrived to Tigertown on Friday.
"[I] just got to see most of the players and see how they were, and met most of the coaches," Ogundeko told CUTigers on Monday.
What was the primary message from the coaches as he got to know them on Friday?
"There's an opportunity to play early."
On Saturday, Ogundeko spent time with defensive ends coach Marion Hobby, had breakfast and saw the campus before heading to the game against South Carolina.
The campus and facilities "were good."
"I liked it," Ogundeko said.
He was impressed with the atmosphere in Death Valley.
"The atmosphere was great. It was the best I've seen, so far," Ogundeko said.
Before leaving Clemson on Sunday, he had a 1-on-1 meeting with head coach Dabo Swinney.
"It was good. He was saying I could come in and compete against the best players, have an opportunity to play early," Ogundeko said.
Ogundeko didn't get make it back home until Monday morning, because his Sunday flight from Atlanta was delayed.
Overall, how was the visit?
"It was good."
Up next is an official to Syracuse. He's already visited Arizona State and Florida.
A decision is on deck after the trip to Syracuse.
"I'm going to make my decision at the Under Armour game," he said.
Several factors will be considered as he works towards that decision.
"Where I have an opportunity to be great and play early, and get coached by good coaches," Ogundeko said.
"My top two are Florida and Clemson. They're pretty much tied."
Ogundeko added, "Both are great schools and I like them a lot."
As a senior at Brooklyn's Jefferson High School, Ogundeko had 74 tackles and 17 sacks.
Two tied at the top
