"I am still committed," 2013 RB Myles Willis said of his decision to attend Boston College. "Going into the season, we knew it was a possibility that Coach [Frank] Spaziani would get fired.

"A lot of us committed because of Offensive Coordinator [Doug] Martin," Willis continued. "But I do plan on visiting some other schools just in case things don't work out with Boston College."

Why wouldn't it 'work out' at BC?

"If they decide to hire an offensive coach who's scheme is different from the current one or doesn't fit my style of play," Willis answered. "That'd be a reason why it wouldn't work out...or if Coach Martin left."

Willis plans to gauge the interest of schools who have recruited him throughout his high school career before making any final decisions.

"Cincinnati has shown interest recently," Willis said. "I'll follow up with that. Also, I've talked a lot to Penn State.

"Coach Ted Roof is coming to my game on Friday," he said. "I want to get a chance to talk to him and speak to my parents. I'd also like to take a visit and see what they have to offer. Coach Roof is highly respected among my high school coaches as well."

Although Willis plans to take his remaining official visits, no dates have been set.
