OU Makes it 23 for Gibbons

The Oklahoma Sooners join the mix for the talented Sunshine State offensive tackle...

Reilly Gibbons, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Saint Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic High is quickly becoming a national commodity.

His impressive offer list grew once again on Thursday when the Oklahoma Sooners stepped up with a verbal offer for the talented giant.

"Reilly was offered a full scholarship by the University of Oklahoma today," informed a source close to the recruitment.

Assistant Coach Bruce Kittle made the offer. This is Reilly's twenty-third offer."

OU joins schools like Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Miami (Fl), Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Purdue, Rutgers, South Florida, Stanford, Tennessee, UCF an Vanderbilt on Gibbon's early offer list.

Gibbons is currently rated as the No. 28 offensive tackle in the country by Scout.com and is already a National Scout300 selection.
