Live Evaluation came from the Mount Tabor-High Point Central game in the first round of the playoffs on November 2.

Scouting Report: High Point Central came up short in this first round playoff game against Mount Tabor, losing 15-12. Despite the loss, junior wide receiver Juwan Foggie had a breakout season. Foggie finished with 61 receptions for 965 yards and seven touchdowns.

Foggie is a big, physical receiver. Although he does not have great speed, he has gotten much faster since his sophomore season. Foggie is not a flashy receiver, but he runs good routes and has soft hands. The junior does a nice job catching the ball away from his body and shows good concentration. He does a good job of getting up field after the catch and is strong with the football. If High Point Central needed a big play in the passing game; Foggie was there go-to receiver.

Overall, Foggie is a good looking prospect. The High Point Central star is very coachable and has a high football I.Q. He has improved dramatically since his sophomore season. However, he must continue improve his speed and quickness, but with his work ethic that should not be a problem. I expect him to get on the field early in his college career and he has the potential to be a good possession receiver.
