Wolf hearing more from Irish

One of the top tight end prospects in the midwest, Ethan Wolf has already started to separate himself from others at his position in the 2014 recruiting class. One school Wolf is hearing from is Notre Dame.

Minster (Ohio) tight end Ethan Wolf stands our early in the 2014 recruiting process as possibly the best at his position in the Buckeye state.

One program that stopped by Wolf's high school in recent weeks was Notre Dame.

What did the Irish say to the 6-foot-6, 221-pound Wolf?

"Quite a few coaches have been visiting school and talking with my coach," said Wolf. "Coach (Mike) Elston has been in contact and he said with the situation they are in depending upon how many tight ends they take, things could turn out really positive for me. He said to keep working in the weight room getting bigger, stronger and faster to become a better football player."

What would an offer from the Irish mean to Wolf?

"An offer would mean a lot personally," said Wolf. "I've liked them along with some other schools. They are the number one team in the nation and they do a lot of great things. I've seen them play twice and I've seen their facilities. Overall it would mean a lot to me if they offered me a scholarship."

Would an offer from the Irish push along a decision by Wolf?

"I guess I can say that now," said Wolf. "I haven't really been to a lot of places so I don't know, but it would definitely take a toll on my thought process.
