Wide Receiver | Louisville (Ky.) Trinity
The game's MVP chose Louisville just moments before catching a 34 yard touchdown pass in tripel coverage which won the game for the East. Quick finished with three receptions, 71 yards and the touchdown along with a 31-yard kickoff return. He showed some of the route running ability, sure hands and big play knack that has earned him a five-star ranking.
Running Back | Yulee (Fla.)
His unusual size (6'3, 240) and ability to move that frame have been on display all week, and then again today as he ran for 53 yards on ten carries with one touchdown and a conversion. The Alabama commit put up monster statitstics in his high school career, and he proved this week that he is legitimately one of the best against the top players in the country.
Cornerback | Olney (Md.) Good Counsel
The East secondary, and in particular, the corners, were outstanding all week in practice, then Fuller stepped to the forefront today. He broke up a couple passes and had tight coverage for much of the day including one play where he had a very questionable pass interference penalty called on him. He's big and physical, but ran downfield with receivers in this game. The future Virginia Tech Hokie certainly lived up to his billing.
Defensive End | Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco
Muhammad chose Miami (FL) today and the Hurricanes are getting one of the best pure pass rushers in the country. He flashed that several times today, pressuring the West quarterbacks and really made his presence felt when he stripped the ball and recovered it himself. He still has weight to add, but there is little doubt about his ability to get to the quarterback.
Defensive Tackle | Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian
Bigelow started the game by sacking fellow USC commit Max Browne. He's explosive and quick for a kid of his size. That combination of athleticism, motor and power has made him a tough assignment for his own offensive linemen this week, and in the game today, the West side had a chance to experience what the East had seen all week. Bigelow looked every bit the five-star he is rated.
Running Back | Richmond (Va.) Hermitage
Green finished the game with 49 yards on eight carries. A bowling ball style back with low center of gravity, he showed his burst and explosiveness at times today. He's not just a power guy. We didn't see the receiving skills he showed during the week in the game, but we know he can do it and that combination of skills has him as the nation's second ranked running back.
Linebacker | Olney (Md.) Good Counsel
O'Daniel had three tackles in the game. He has a nose for the ball and the speed to get there once he sees it. He plays with aggressiveness and very little hesitation and his athleticism allows him to be comfortable playing in space and in coverage as well. The Clemson Tigers are getting a good one.
Laremy Tunsil, Evan Lisle, and Austin Golson
The whole unit played well, allowing the East to run the ball the way they did. It was these three in particular, who impressed us though. Lisle, headed to Ohio State, did well pulling, showing his ability and leading the way on a couple of nice gains. Tunsil, ranked as one of the nation's top offensive tackles, and Golson, a Florida State commit, rotated at left tackle and did a nice job contributing to the rushing totals as well as blocking the West's edge rushers.
Honorable Mention: Taquan Mizzell, Greg Bryant, Frank Herron, Jeremy Johnson
