Another Big Offer For Berger

Kyle Berger is one of Ohio's top prospects in the 2014 recruiting class, and college recruiters have discovered the Cleveland St. Ignatius linebacker. The junior added his sixth offer Tuesday morning.

Cleveland St. Ignatius is typically one of the top talent producing high schools in America, and junior linebacker Kyle Berger is their top 2014 prospect.

Berger, 6-foot-2, 215-pounds, recently completed an impressive junior season and college recruiters know all about him. Tuesday morning, Berger landed his sixth offer.

"I was offered by Penn State this morning, and my head coach just let me know about it," Berger stated. "I'm definitely pumped up about the offer, and I'm looking forward to getting to know more about their program."

"I know they've always had great tradition of producing linebackers at Penn State," he added. "It's exciting for me to know that they believe I could add to that tradition. I'm very excited to have this offer."

In addition to Penn State, Berger also holds offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State and West Virginia.

Here is Scout's evaluation of Berger after seeing him play in person for the first time last fall:

EVALUATION: After seeing Berger play against Mentor, what stands out is his speed and length coming off the edge. He showed the ability to cover a lot of ground and was a very sure tackler. Berger is definitely one to watch in Ohio for the 2014 class.
