WR James Clark Profile
It was the fourth official visit for the New Smyrna Beach High School [Florida] four-star wide receiver.
"It was good. I loved it. The campus and everything, it was all great," Clark told CUTigers on Sunday afternoon.
He arrived to Clemson on Friday and stayed in town through Sunday.
"I got to see all the facilities. I got to see the academic center, hang out with the players and meet all the coaches," Clark said.
What stood out?
"Really, the people, the people there are a lot different. You can tell they're a family."
Before leaving town, Clark had a 1-on-1 meeting with head coach Dabo Swinney.
"We just sat down and talked about the opportunities to play and if I would take it, and how I could [fit in] the future," Clark said.
Did the visit help Clemson's effort in trying to obtain a signature from Clark?
"I would say that, yes."
With one official visit left, Clark isn't sure what he'll do next. He'd originally planned to visit Florida next weekend.
"I'm not sure about that one. I'm just -- I don't know -- to the point where I'm kind of finished with the visits," he said.
A decision will be announced on signing day.
When asked who leads, Clark responded, "Right now, Clemson, Florida, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State."
He said there is no specific order to the list.
Ebenezer Ogundeko served as Clark's player host.
