It's a decision that affects a college football prospect for the next several years of his life. Taking trips to campuses to have a stress-free National Signing Day are a common idea.

Shelton Gibson may play his football on the next level at West Virginia, but he is not wasting time make sure that's the best fit for him. The Cleveland, Ohio, wide receiver took an official visit to see Tennessee and get reacquainted with assistant coach Tommy Thigpen this weekend.

While he said he is firm in his verbal commitment to West Virginia that he made Wednesday, Gibson said the Volunteers gave him something to think about and he plans to hit the road to get 100 percent decided. That could mean another trip to both Morgantown and Knoxville with family members in tow, including his mother and brother.

The 5-foot-11, 181-pounder is rated by FOX Sports NEXT as the No. 19 wide receiver in the country and a four-star prospect.
