Munger Reaffirms To Buckeyes

Ohio State commit Donovan Munger certainly raised eyebrows within Buckeye Nation last weekend by taking a visit to Florida State. Friday afternoon, Munger gave the latest on his recruitment.

Shaker Heights defensive tackle and Ohio State commit Donovan Munger created a firestorm last weekend by taking an official visit to Florida State.

Munger, 6-foot-3, 290-pounds, committed to the Buckeyes in December following his official visit to the school. His trip to Tallahasse brought head coach Urban Meyer, and Buckeye assistants Mike Vrabel and Stan Drayton to Cleveland Thursday evening to meet with Munger and his family.

"First off, I'm all good with Ohio State and 100% committed," Munger stated Friday afternoon. "Yesterday's meeting went great, and everything is good. I know everybody was talking about my trip to Florida State, and it was nice down there."

"I only went down there because it was nine degrees around here," he added. "I don't know why that was such a big commotion, but everything is all good now."

Munger, a four-star prospect and one of the top players in the Midwest, also visited UCLA earlier, in addition to Florida State and Ohio State.
