Before junior Kyle Trout took an unofficial visit to Ohio State Saturday, he had a feeling that an offer could be coming. The offensive tackle was exactly right.
"Ohio State offered Kyle," said his father Kevin Trout Saturday afternoon. "It was Coach Meyer along with Coach Warriner that offered. Kyle is honored that they have offered him."
Trout also holds offers from Ohio, Toledo, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Bowling Green, Illinois, Michigan State and Indiana. He says the Buckeyes are right there with all of his other schools.
"They are not behind anyone but he hasn't had time to process things yet."
The Trout family intended to visit Toledo after their stop at Ohio State, but due to time constraints had to cancel the trip.
