Conley, 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, committed to Michigan in the spring of 2012, but switched his commitment to Ohio State following an official visit last December.
WHAT ARE HIS STRENGTHS ON OFFENSE? Conley has great speed, first and foremost, a desired attribute in any offense. More than the ability to get deep, Conley has shown the willingness to make tough catches in traffic, and the skill to go up and over defenders for the football. Will need to be more consistent catching the football should Ohio State play him on offense, but his size/speed combination could see him at wide receiver for the Buckeyes. - Bill Greene
WHAT ARE HIS STRENGTHS DEFENSIVELY? The past two seasons, Massillon has consistently matched Conley with the opposition's top receiver in man coverage. He has the hip turn, and the length to be effective in one-on-one coverage, against either quicker, slot receivers, or the taller, outside receivers. Will need to add bulk and strength, especially in his upper-body to be a more effective tackler. Adding strength will be a must no matter what side of the ball he plays, but Conley has the frame to add weight and still be able to keep his speed. - Bill Greene
Conley On Being At Under Armour: "This has been amazing meeting all the Ohio State recruits, and working with these great coaches," Conley stated. "The practices are fun and the talent is really amazing at Under Armour. I'm learning more about what it takes to play cornerback at this level."
"Being around this much talent is fun, and it makes you more competitive," he added. "You know if you shut down one of these receivers that you have really done well against one of the best in the country."
"I think I've done alright here, but I've been in basketball the past month, and haven't done any football drills at all," he continued. "I'm really here to enjoy the experience and get to know my teammates at Ohio State a lot better. They're all good guys and we are having a great time."
