Hayes In No Hurry

One of the standouts during Sunday's National Elite Big Man Camp in Wixom, Michigan was Connor Hayes. Hayes talked with FOXSportsNEXT.com about his day and where he stands in the recruiting process.

With six scholarship offers already in hand, Traverse City (Mich.) West offensive lineman Connor Hayes knows he could have stayed away from Sunday's National Elite Big Man Camp in Wixom, Michigan. However, that would be against Hayes plans to take his game to another level.

"Today was a good day," said Hayes. "I got in the Top Three at the end, however, I didn't move my feet too well at the end. But I felt I had an overall good day and took another step in reaching my full potential.

"I want to be as good as I can be and that means coming to all the camps and combines even during the off-season and doing as much as I can."

Despite his six scholarship offers from the likes of Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Indiana, Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Duke, Hayes is not rushing the process and not sure what he's look for in a program at this stage of the process.

"I get asked that question a lot," said Hayes. "Honestly, I don't know what I'm looking for yet as I'm ust checking out anyone who is interested. I'm looking to attend several camps this summer but now sure which ones yet."
