"I got to tour their facilities, I met most of their coaches, they talked about their interest in me, and it was nice down there. I enjoyed it."
Roseboro did not leave with an offer, but that's OK.
He knows those will come in time.
"I still have two offers right now from Duke and North Carolina, but I am hearing from a lot of schools. I get a lot of mail from Alabama, Penn State, Clemson, Michigan, North Carolina State, Tennessee, and some others. I have a lot of schools showing interest, so I am just going to keep working hard."
The 6-foot-4, 263 pound sophomore out of Lincolnton, N.C. had 108 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in 2012.
He is working hard for an even better junior campaign.
"I want to be a better pass rusher and get more sacks next year. It starts with the technique, so that is what I am really working on right now. I know I will be better next year."
Scout predicts his game will be better and that his offer list will be much longer this time next year.
Roseboro will likely have seen more schools too.
He has only tripped to Duke, Georgia, and North Carolina so far and he has other visits in mind.
"Georgia was good and I enjoyed going to games at Duke and UNC in the fall, but I want to see Clemson and North Carolina State too," he said. "I will be at Duke on March 2, that will be my next trip. After that, I will likely get to UNC and N.C. State."
More visits will lead to Roseboro separating some schools on his list.
"All schools are even right now. I just want to see more places, meet more coaches, and things like that before I start having leaders. Everything is even for me right now."
