Copeland Gives Update On Spartans

With an offer list that has climbed to double digits Vayante Copeland's interest in Michigan State could become cloudy. What did Copeland tell about the Spartans? We have the latest update from the Ohio standout.

Over the past week Dayton (Ohio) Thurgood Marshall standout Vayante Copeland has seen new offers from Cincinnati and Illinois.

However, Copeland still spoke highly about the Spartans and his desire to visit campus in the near future.

"I talk with Coach (Harlon) Barnett a lot," said Copeland. "I like him a lot and we don't really talk much about recruiting as he's just talking with me about the program."

Along with his two newest offers, Copeland has lost track of how many schools have offered but believes it to be twelve.

"I've been offered by Western Michigan, Eastern Illinois, Akron, Ohio, Bowling Green, Toledo, Minnesota, Michigan State, Illinois and Cincinnati," said Copeland. "There are a few more I can't remember right now."

Copeland has heard nothing but good things about the Spartans campus from others and is looking forward to visiting himself.

"I really want to get up there," explained Copeland. "I had some friends take a college visit there and said a lot of good things. So I want to get up there and experience it on my own."
