Lee Likes His Missouri Experience

One of the Missouri Tigers top targets with an offer in hand talks to ShowMeMizzou.com about the details surrounding his recent unofficial visit to Columbia to check things out, and he also gives us a look at where his recruitment is at.

Following his unofficial visit to Missouri this past Thursday, 2014 LB prospect Brandon Lee 6’3” 210 Indianapolis (IN) Lawrence Central spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about his trip to see the Tigers, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

“I liked Missouri a lot,” said Lee. “I got to see the campus and everything……………………………….. I got a chance to watch practice, so I had a pretty good visit there.”

Lee talked about the people at Missouri.

“The (Missouri) coaching staff seemed like they wouldn’t lie to me,” explained Lee. “They were straight up, kind of straightforward with me. They didn’t try to make any promises to me, or anything like that. In speaking to the (Missouri) players, they talked about how they feel about the school in general, not just football and everything. They like the school in general, and they said that they feel comfortable there, even if they didn’t play football.”

Lee reported offers from Ball State, California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Northwestern, and Purdue, in addition to Missouri.

Lee said that he’s “not exactly sure”, when he’ll start narrowing things down. He feels that it’s early in his recruitment.

“It depends on how things go this spring,” explained Lee, regarding his recruitment. “I’m just kind of taking it all in. I plan on making my decision after my senior season, but I’m not sure.”

Lee reported a personal best of 4.7 seconds in the forty-yard dash, and 10 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

“I do like Missouri,” Lee re-iterated, although he said that he doesn’t have any favorites, or a narrowed list, at this time.
