Up to 10 offers

Montez Ivey is holding onto 10 offers which happen to be from some of the top programs in the nation, but the 2015 recruit says recruiting isn't important. This junior to be has been working hard this off-season and spring ball is around the corner.

Apopka (Flor.) offensive lineman, Martez Ivey, is quickly rising to the top of the top juniors in Florida list. Ivey, a 6-foot-5 and 265-pound offensive lineman, is looking forward to the start of spring practices.

"Spring practices start up next week," Ivey said. "I have been working on my pass protection and my footwork. I really wanted to work on my hand placement and staying on my blocks."

We are a couple of weeks into the evaluation period and it isn't phasing Ivey. Ivey is a sophomore, a junior to be, and the recruiting process isn't something that is catching his attention according to him.

"I really don't know anything about recruiting. I have got two more years of high school, not even a junior yet, and so I am just not going to worry about it at this point."

Not worrying about the recruiting process by most sophomores would be a no-brainer response. Most sophomores aren't holding 10 DI offers before their junior season from some of the top programs in the nation.

"I have 10 offers. I have offers from Florida State, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Nebraska and Ole Miss."

Ivey says that he hasn't made any trips this spring. He has really be concentrating in the off-season for his junior year. He says that he is planning on a few summer camps though, but nothing is set up right now.

"I haven't been on any trips this spring, but I am planning on going to some camps this summer. I will probably go to Florida, Florida State and Miami camps later this summer. I don't have anything set up right now though."
