Bucks Offer 2015 Defensive Lineman

Ohio State has shown the desire to recruit the state of Virginia under Urban Meyer, and the Buckeyes have increased their efforts in the state. Ohio State offered 2015 defensive lineman Tim Settle recently.

2015 Manassas (VA) Stonewall Jackson defensive tackle Tim Settle recently raked in an Ohio State offer in addition to scholarship offers from Alabama, North Carolina, Old Dominion, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The Buckeyes have made it a habit of diving into the state of Virginia for prospects under Urban Meyer and it continues for the class of 2015, as Settle became the latest to attract attention from the staff.

"My coach told me that one of the Ohio State coaches got in touch with him and let him know they were offering me," Settle explained. "I was excited. I was shocked too. I didn't see it coming. South Carolina offered me around the same time too."

Settle is finishing up his sophomore year of high school but is already familiar with what Ohio State has to offer.

"They're Ohio State," he said. "It's a big time school. They have Urban Meyer as their coach and he always wins. They only offer the best players."

"I liked Ohio State some when I was growing up," Settle continued. "They were on TV a lot, had great players, and I always have liked their uniforms."

The Stonewall Jackson product is a prospect that the Buckeyes' coaches are certain to keep in contact with.

"I've talked to Coach (Mike) Vrabel already and the wide receivers coach," he noted. "Vrabel talked to me about my footwork and things like that. I'm actually calling him tonight."
