Chandler Leniu has had an impressive spring at a couple 7-on-7's, showing that he's not only a physical linebacker in pads, but he has the ability to cover too.

National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins wrote this after the IMG 7-on back in March.

"Leniu earned tourney MVP honors after his TEAM AIGA 7 on 7 squad took home the title in Las Vegas and he was key again last weekend for the Snoop Dogg all-stars. Leniu is a physical 'backer who can cover tight ends and redirects everyone coming across the middle. He's very strong and active and can cover a lot of ground. He's best with the pads on but he has shown this winter that he can shine in 7 on 7 play as well."

Lenui has four offers on the table as of now but says he is receiving new interest.

"TCU, Alabama, Oregon State and I received an offer from Iowa State recently," Lenui said. "I'm just trying to pick some more up and go from there."

In hopes of improving his game and continuing to bring in offers, Lenui says he has been working on a lot of facets to his game.

"Just working on my speed, filling the hole faster and get my reading down," he said. "I think if I can keep improving on those things more offers will come." Lenui added there are no leaders at this point but he is in consistent contact with all the programs he has offers from.
