Kirk already holds 18 offers that includes Texas A&M, Oregon State, UCLA, Wisconsin, Washington, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida State, and Texas Tech.
The Buckeyes were the latest.
"Coach Herman came by school and told my coach that they wanted to offer me," said Kirk. "He talked about the success the program was having and how I would fit perfectly into the role Percy Harvin served for Coach (Urban) Meyer's offense at Florida."
"I hadn't heard from Ohio State yet so I wasn't expecting it," he continued. "I knew they were going to be in Arizona recruiting Kyle (Allen), Mark (Andrews), and Jalen (Brown) so I was hoping they were going to be stopping by."
The newest offer to Kirk had him very excited.
"The offer from Ohio State was one that I had dreamed about since I was younger," Kirk explained. "They were always one of my favorite schools when I was growing up because of the success they have had. I don't have any favorites but it's surprising to see some of these teams in the east offer me like Tennessee and Florida State because they don't have a reputation for always recruiting out here."
Kirk shared why Ohio State would be a school he would be looking into and a school he has high interest in.
"Ohio State and Notre Dame both have a ton of local talent around them so it's an honor to receive attention from them," Kirk stated. "I know that Ohio State has an incredible fan base and they have over 100,000 for each home game. They have a lot of success, history, and tradition. The program has had a lot of success and they were the only school in the country to go undefeated last year."
The 5-foot-9, 170 pound athlete has several schools pursuing him already and they all have one position in mind for him.
"All the schools have offered me as a wide receiver," he noted. "That is where I want to play too. I fit best in the slot position I think so the Percy Harvin role is intriguing. There was a lot of success under Urban Meyer at that position at Florida so it is really good vision to be productive."
"I'm open to having the ball handed off to me on jet sweeps or out of the backfield," Kirk continued. "I can make big plays so as long as I get the ball in my hands I can do some things with it."
Kirk has no visit plans set yet but has an idea of what he wants to do.
"I don't have any visits set in stone yet but there's a few schools I have in mind that I want to get out to," he said. "Ohio State is one of them and I'd like to see them and a few others over the summer if it's possible."
