6-foot-5, 189 pound sophomore Lawrence Cager has been listed as an athlete, but he is now feeling comfortable finding his place on offense.
"I think I'm settling into the wide receiver spot. I think that's the best position for me so far."
Cager, along with some of his teammates, has been hitting the camp circuit. Their first stop was at Ohio State, a place where Cager got special attention from the coaches.
"I love Ohio State. I love how the coaches interact with you. I love the campus and the football team. I think something that helped me stand out was that I showed that I can go up and get the ball. I use my body to get physical."
The sophomore currently holds an offer from Toledo and has been picking up interest from Virginia Tech and Penn State.
As for the rest of the summer, Cager has plenty of other schools he's visiting.
"I'm seeing Cincinnati, Toledo, Indiana and Purdue. I want to visit Oregon, Oregon State and USC."
Even though he's from Maryland, the idea of heading out west isn't too daunting for Cager.
"If I get heavily recruited by a school it won't matter where it is. Distance won't be that big of a factor."
