Four-star teammates ready to narrow list

After receiving scholarship offers from across the country, Durham (N.C.) Hillside teammates Donte Thomas-Williams and Trevion Thompson are ready to narrow their lists of schools.

"Donte Thomas-Williams and Trevion Thompson will be announcing their top five on Friday," said Hillside head coach Antonio King in a text to FOX Sports Next. "These will be the five schools that they will be looking to visit and continue forming relationships with."

Although the both players will be releasing a top five, neither appears to be in a hurry to make a decision.

"There is no timeline for a decision, but we will be releasing them in order from one to five," King said.

Who will make the cut?

Thomas-Williams recently named a top three of Clemson, Notre Dame and West Virginia – in no particular order. So, I think it's pretty safe to assume that those will be three of his five.

Although each player will make their own decision, I think those three schools will definitely make Thompson's final five, too.

Another school to keep an eye on is Ohio State.

Adding to that is the fact that both have visited the aforementioned schools together in recent months.

After those four, a number of teams could round out each player's five because both have over 20 scholarship offers.

Lastly, although both have talked about playing together in college, do not be surprised if the the last schools on each prospect's list are different.

Thompson is the 8th-ranked receiver in the country and the 45th-ranked prospect overall, while Thomas-Williams is the 23rd-ranked running back and the 243rd-ranked prospect in the country.
