Ohio State will now begin to show more emphasis on the 2015 class and that will be evident in their second Friday Night Lights camp. I fully expect it to be geared more towards the next cycle.
Drew Richmond – The offensive tackle from Memphis grew up a huge Buckeyes fan, as many know, and has already spent a day on the Ohio State campus for a visit. At 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds already, Richmond has the size to be an elite offensive tackle in his class. The Buckeyes' staff likes him a lot and he's a top target in the 2015 class. At this point he should be Ohio State's to lose.
Lorenzo Nunez – The 6-foot-2, 185 pound rising junior showed off a very strong arm when camping in front of the Ohio State coaches in June. After his performance Nunez and his family were greeted by the Buckeyes' staff and received an offer. After seeing him in person, and offering on the spot, Nunez should be a top target for Ohio State at the quarterback position. He has mentioned a possible return visit for Friday Night Lights.
Brian Cole – He will be rated near the top for prospects in the state of Michigan for the 2015 class. Out of Saginaw, Michigan, the 6-foot-2, 190 pound wideout will be heavily recruited in the Midwest. Cole has already visited Ohio State a couple times and holds an early offer. He was among the best receivers I saw over the multiple camps in June.
Jacques Patrick – The Orlando running back has the size and speed to be an excellent prospect in the class of 2015. His offer list agrees. He has impressed at many camps and also made a stop in Columbus to check out the Buckeyes' campus. At one time, Florida and Florida State were in command position for Patrick but a visit to Ohio State seemed to thwart that momentum. The Timber Creek product has already planned a return visit to see the Buckeyes play in the fall.
CeCe Jefferson – Alabama may be out front for the 2015 defensive tackle from Florida but he holds an early offer from Ohio State and has confirmed that he will be in attendance at Ohio State'S Friday Night Lights camp. At 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds, Jefferson also has raked in offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Miami, and Tennessee. The Buckeyes will get their shot to impress one of the most promising rising juniors from Florida at the end of this month.
