Remaining Targets: Ohio State

Ohio State has added 17 prospects to their 2014 class and have space for more. Who may fill it out?

The Buckeyes have 17 commits in the fold so far for the 2014 class and will look to finish the cycle strong. Who are the possibilities?

Johnnie Dixon – The four-star wide receiver has Ohio State in his top group alongside Alabama and Miami. The Buckeyes are a factor here.
Official Visit: September 28

Noah Brown – The four-star wideout from New Jersey should come off the board soon and the likely destinations are Ohio State and Rutgers. I think Rutgers holds the edge.

Trevion Thompson – The Durham (NC) Hillside standout is another four-star wide receiver the Buckeyes have chased. He visited Ohio State for Friday Night Lights and has them in his top group but it is unlikely he ends up in Columbus.

Jalen Brown – The Arizona receiver has listed the Buckeyes amongst schools he is considering for a while but has since stepped away from that a bit. He has four official visits scheduled and Ohio State is not included.

Travis Rudolph – The Florida native has the Buckeyes in his top five but has not visited yet. Rudolph has scheduled two official visits and the Ohio State is in consideration for one of the other three. I don't think this one has any legs to it at this time.

Mike Gesicki – He's taking his process slowly and Ohio State is in the mix. With the current roster playing out like it has, a tight end could be added to the class.

Tyler Luatua – The nation's 2nd best tight end has three official visits set with the Buckeyes being one. The California prospect will take his process slowly.
Official Visit: September 28

Damian Prince – Ohio State and Maryland will battle it out until the end for one of the nation's top offensive tackles. Enjoy the ride.

Alex Bookser – The Buckeyes have hosted Bookser on a couple visits so far but I'm not high on their chances of landing the four-star offensive tackle.

Chad Mavety – The junior college offensive tackle has already taken an official visit to Florida State and is in the process of setting one up to Alabama. Florida State and Alabama are filling up at the position, which could aid the Buckeyes in their pursuit.
Official Visit: November 22

Solomon Thomas – Ohio State is in the mix for the defensive end from Texas. They are in his top eight and should be able to land an official visit from Thomas.

Thomas Holley – The elite defensive tackle from Brooklyn is planning out his official visits right now and Ohio State is expected to nab one. The Buckeyes are squarely in the mix for his services.

Raekwon McMillan – Simply put, Ohio State is in a great spot.
Official Visit: October 26

Marshon Lattimore – The Cleveland (OH) Glenville corner will take all five official visits most likely but the Buckeyes should have their next Tarblooder close to National Signing Day.

Erick Smith – Like Lattimore, Smith should end up committing to Ohio State close to National Signing Day.

Shawn Boone – A teammate of Johnnie Dixon, Boone has the Buckeyes in his top group. He's probably not a priority recruit at this time but he continues to consider Ohio State.
Official Visit: September 28

Juju Smith – His first official visit will be to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are trailing but they will give it a whirl.
Official Visit: September 28

Jamal Adams – The Texas native is another five-star safety the Buckeyes have a lot of ground to make up on. They may get their chance on an unofficial visit if he indeed does get off the plane in Columbus.
