Braxton Miller accounted for 255 total yards and two touchdown passes. But the biggest day was had by senior running back Jordan Hall, who returned to the starting lineup and ran 21 times for 159 yards and touchdown runs of 47 and 37 yards.
Devin Smith caught one of Miller's TD passes on the first drive of the year, while Chris Fields had two TD grabs among his three catches. One was thrown by Kenny Guiton, who subbed in for Miller as the junior QB battled cramps on a hot day.
Miller also threw a pick-six to star Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack, which kickstarted a short Bulls rally in the second quarter.
