PALM BEACH GARDENS (FL) DUO
Wide receiver Johnnie Dixon and safety Shawn Boone have locked up their official visit to Ohio State for the Wisconsin game in less than two weeks.
Dixon is the priority and who the Buckeyes hope to finish up with at receiver. North Carolina State and Arkansas are getting visits from Dixon as well but the real competitors are Ohio State, Alabama, and Miami.
Boone likely does not have a committable offer at this point as the Buckeyes center their efforts on Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith and chase Juju Smith until the end. Boone is a nice player though and showed well when he camped at Ohio State in June.
JuJu Smith has also confirmed his official visit to Ohio State for the Wisconsin game. He has also backed out of his official visit to Ole Miss and eliminated them. Oregon will now get that last official visit open.
There is no reason to believe Ohio State leads but the five-star safety is open to all schools that remain on his list.
RAEKWON AND HIS TEAMMATE
McMillan has named a top three of Ohio State, Clemson, and Alabama. At one point Alabama was probably the strongest competition to the Buckeyes in landing McMillan but Clemson currently holds that spot.
I still think the Buckeyes sign McMillan when the time comes and are probably still the unspoken leader at this point. They host him on an official visit in late October for the Penn State game.
McMillan's teammate, 2017 athlete Richard Lecounte, was offered by Ohio State last night. He will be a national recruit for his class and will accompany McMillan on the visit in October.
TOP 2015 OFFENSIVE LINE TARGET
Memphis (TN) University School offensive tackle Drew Richmond has a ton of offers and grew up a huge fan of Ohio State. He visited the Buckeyes over the summer and had a great time.
He is close to the staffs at Tennessee and Vanderbilt but the Buckeyes are largely involved and have a legitimate chance to nab him.
One of the strongest relationships Richmond has with a coach is with Urban Meyer. They talk nearly every week and he is aware that he is a priority for Ohio State in the 2015 class.
BURRELL TO VISIT
2015 Woodbridge (VA) C.D. Hylton offensive tackle Matthew Burrell is another top target along the offensive line amongst the junior class. He is also close with Da'Shawn Hand and Tim Settle.
He recently visited Michigan for their night game against Notre Dame and enjoyed the experience.
Burrell has recently spoken with Zach Smith and Urban Meyer and will visit the Buckeyes for the night game against Wisconsin. It will be Ohio State's chance to impress him enough to put themselves in the mix. It is not confirmed, but with his relationship to Settle, I would not be surprised to see him there as well.
