The Buckeyes are set to host their first big visitor weekend of the season as they host Wisconsin next Saturday at night. Official visits are on tap as well as visits from commits, 2014 prospects, and 2015 prospects. Here's the first look.
2014 PROSPECTS: OFFICIAL VISITS
Johnnie Dixon. Palm Beach Gardens (FL). Four-star wide receiver. Dixon visited the Buckeyes over the summer and will take his official visit to Ohio State.
Shawn Boone. Palm Beach Gardens (FL). Four-star safety. Boone is a teammate of Dixon's and visited with him over the summer. He will take an official visit to Ohio State as well.
Juju Smith. Long Beach (CA). Five-star safety. Smith is open to a handful of schools still with Ohio State being one. It will be the Buckeyes' chance to impress him as they host the top safety in the class on an official visit.
Tyler Luatua. La Mirada (CA). Four-star tight end. Luatua will check out the Ohio State campus for the first time as he takes an official visit to see the Buckeyes.
Mike Gesicki. Manahawkin (NJ). Three-star tight end. Gesicki earned an offer from Ohio State at a camp in June. He will take an official visit to see the Buckeyes. He visits Penn State soon after and will make his college choice afterwards.
Brian Cole. Saginaw (MI). The four-star athlete has been in contact with Urban Meyer in the last month and will visit the Buckeyes for the second time.
Jackson Harris. Columbia (TN). Harris does not have an offer from Ohio State but they have showed the tight end serious interest lately. He's a prospect to watch.
Kai Locksley. Baltimore (MD). The junior quarterback received an offer from the Buckeyes and will visit them for the first time.
Mike Weber. Detroit (MI). The Cass Tech running back will be in Columbus to get yet another look at the Buckeyes.
Matthew Burrell. Woodbridge (VA). The Scout100 offensive tackle has seen his share of schools already and will visit the Buckeyes next weekend.
Drew Richmond. Memphis (TN). Richmond is one of the main priorities for the 2015 class and will take his second visit to Ohio State next weekend.
Nick Conner. Dublin (OH). The Ohio linebacker has been hearing from Ohio State lately and will visit next weekend. An offer has not come for Conner but he's one to keep a close eye on.
Larry Wells. Kenton (OH). The offensive tackle has had a good start to his junior campaign and is another in-state offensive lineman on the Buckeyes' radar.
Darrin Hall. Youngstown (OH). The Austintown-Fitch product visited Notre Dame this past weekend and will see Ohio State next weekend. Hall is a running back that could receive a Buckeyes' offer.
Parris Campbell, Dante Booker, Stephen Collier, Kyle Trout, Demetrius Knox, Jamarco Jones, Sam Hubbard, Terry McLaurin, Dylan Thompson, Jalyn Holmes, and Damon Webb are all expected to be in attendance. I anticipate Marcelys Jones being present as well.
2015 commit Eric Glover-Williams will also be on hand.
