One of the top defensive line targets remaining is Brooklyn prospect Thomas Holley. Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida, Syracuse, and Rutgers are all in the mix for his verbal pledge.
The schools emerging as of now are the Buckeyes, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Florida. Penn State already hosted him on an official visit and the Buckeyes did as well this past weekend.
I really like where Ohio State stands on this one. Notre Dame and Florida will look to get official visits as well. He has grown tired of the recruiting process and it would not surprise me to see a decision before the last couple crazy months of the cycle.
OFFENSIVE LINE SITUATION
Ohio State has four commits on the offensive line in Jamarco Jones, Marcelys Jones, Demetrius Knox, and Kyle Trout. It is a strong group already but they would like to add one or two more good ones.
Damian Prince and Alex Bookser will most likely land elsewhere.
The Buckeyes are the top landing spot for Chad Mavety in my estimation and I think he eventually commits soon after his visit in November. They offered Frank Ragnow about a week ago and he would seem to be one of the top options for the last spot. Ragnow will not be able to make it this weekend for the Penn State game, however.
A name to keep an eye on is Columbus native Brady Taylor. He is committed to Virginia Tech but has visited Ohio State this season.
UPCOMING VISIT WEEKEND
A visit preview will be provided tomorrow but here are some names of note that will be in attendance when Ohio State squares off against Penn State at night. More will be added as the week progresses.
