Six-foot-1, 195 pound junior Anthony McKee was one of several recruits in Columbus to watch Ohio State take on Penn State. The linebacker says that once again he had a great time.
"The atmosphere was crazy; it was really loud. I've gone to three or four games this year, but this was the loudest it's been. The fans played a big role in the game. They helped with the turnovers in the 1st quarter and that changed the game," said McKee.
McKee didn't get a chance to speak with the Buckeye staff while at the game but he says he may speak with coach Luke Fickell later today. While the junior hasn't been offered by the Buckeyes, his relationship with them has continued to grow.
"I like coach Fickell and coach Meyer. Three weeks ago I was at leadership program on Ohio State's campus. While I was there they showed me the stadium. I also talked with coach Meyer and he told me to come to a basketball game so I could really have some time to talk to him," said McKee.
As for the rest of his recruitment, McKee picked up an offer from Indiana on Friday night. He says that he's interested in visiting Bloomington.
"Last week I went to Illinois' game against Wisconsin. I was supposed to stop at Indiana on the way back but they were on the road. I plan on getting down there," said the linebacker. "I've also visited Cincinnati before. I'm trying to get to Michigan State this weekend."
