2015 Bowling Green (KY) Warren East linebacker Eli Brown holds multiple offers. He is one of the top outside linebacker prospects in the 2015 class and a four-star prospect.
Over the summer Brown committed while on a visit to Vanderbilt. He has since backed off that pledge.
"Yes I have," Eli Brown confirmed to Scout of his de-commitment from Vanderbilt.
"There really isn't any particular reason why I chose to," he added. "I just want to take things slow and look at other schools. I need to see if other schools can catch my eye. I'm only a junior."
Are there other schools in play for Brown that caused him to rescind his verbal commitment to Vanderbilt?
"I don't know of any specific schools I will look into," he admitted. "I'm just staying back and waiting to see who all will give me a chance."
Brown visited Ohio State two weekends ago when they hosted Iowa. The Buckeyes are a school Brown thinks very highly of.
"It was a great visit," he noted. "I just like to see how crazy their fans are. It was an exciting feeling to be there and I enjoyed it a lot."
