Ohio State Visit Weekend

Junior college offensive tackle Chad Mavety headlines the group of prospects that will visit Ohio State this weekend.

THE BIG ONE

Junior college offensive tackle Chad Mavety is already en route to Columbus for his official visit to Ohio State. Mavety is arguably the most important recruit left on the board for the Buckeyes. With four offensive lineman graduating this season, Mavety becomes an integral part of the class.

Florida State is the only competition for Ohio State in regards to signing Mavety. He plans to make his college decision soon after the visit. The Buckeyes can lock him up with a spectacular visit.

2015 PROSPECTS

Jerome Baker. Cleveland (OH) Benedictine. Four-star linebacker. He is the headliner among the juniors that will be in attendance. Baker already holds an offer and the Buckeyes are high on his list with Michigan and Penn State.

Kaleb Kim. Hoschton (GA) Mill Creek. Three-star offensive tackle. He picked up an offer from Ohio State not long ago and is already heading to Columbus for a visit. That's a sign of strong mutual interest.

Van Jefferson. Brentwood (TN) Ravenwood. Four-star wide receiver. Jefferson has an offer from Ohio State and will get his first look at the Buckeyes this weekend.

Sterling Jenkins. Pittsburgh (PA) Baldwin. Four-star offensive tackle. We saw him at a couple camps in Columbus and he's a mountain of a man. Ohio State seemed to drop down his list of favorites but they have a chance to climb back up this weekend.

Matt McCann. Indianapolis (IN) Bishop Chatard. Three-star offensive tackle. He has great size but lacks an offer from the Buckeyes so far but has offers from Indiana and Iowa.
