Weekend Visitor Preview: Ohio State

Ohio State hosts several of their commits on official visits this weekend, as well as a few uncommitted prospects with offers.

Alex Bookser. Four-star offensive tackle. Pittsburgh (PA) Mt. Lebanon. It's a battle right now between Pittsburgh and Ohio State, with the Panthers holding the edge. This is the chance for the Buckeyes to make up a ton of ground and they'll roll out the red carpet.

Marshon Lattimore. Four-star cornerback. Cleveland (OH) Glenville. He's already taken an official visit to Alabama and heads to Columbus for an official visit after he returns from his trip to Atlanta to check out Georgia Tech. Buckeye.

Erick Smith. Four-star safety. Cleveland (OH) Glenville. Smith and Lattimore are in identical positions in terms of their recruitment. Buckeye.

Stephen Collier. Three-star quarterback. Leesburg (GA) Lee County. He has signed a mid-year agreement with the Buckeyes as well and will enroll at Ohio State the first week of January.

Terry McLaurin. Four-star wide receiver. Indianapolis (IN) Cathedral. His school doesn't let athletes enroll at college early but he'll be on campus with the other commits this weekend.

Marcelys Jones. Three-star offensive lineman. Cleveland (OH) Glenville. He has signed a mid-year agreement with Ohio State, as well as Kentucky. Jones is expected to be in Columbus this weekend and will enroll early.

Jamarco Jones. Four-star offensive tackle. Chicago (IL) De La Salle. Jamarco will not be enrolling at Ohio State early but is planning on being in Columbus this weekend for his official visit. His film from this season was impressive so it appears he has healed successfully from shoulder surgery.

Kyle Trout. Four-star offensive tackle. Lancaster (OH). Trout has been to Ohio State the most of any of the commits and will be back in Columbus for his official visit. Trout will enroll early with the Buckeyes.

Dylan Thompson. Three-star defensive lineman. Lombard (IL) Montini Catholic. The Chicago area prospect will also be traveling east for his official visit this weekend. He committed to the Buckeyes over eight months ago.

Sam Hubbard. Four-star linebacker. Cincinnati (OH) Moeller. He capped off his senior season with a second straight state championship and will be in Columbus this week for his official visit. Hubbard will not be enrolling early.

Damon Webb. Four-star cornerback. Detroit (MI) Cass Tech. He surprised many by committing to Ohio State over Michigan and Michigan State nearly 11 months ago. His official visit to Columbus is this weekend. He's also familiar with Smith and Lattimore.

Sean Nuernberger. Three-star kicker. Buckner (KY) Oldham Co. He'll be the kicker for the Buckeyes next year replacing Drew Basil. He'll be in Columbus this weekend for his official visit and he'll be back at Ohio State the first week of January, set to enroll for classes.
