Bates' Focus Is On Four

HERSHEY, Pa. -- Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood class of 2015 offensive lineman Ryan Bates was a dominant force in helping the Vikings to the PIAA Class AAA state title, and after the game he said for schools were standing out in his recruitment.

Ryan Bates holds a dozen offers, and of those two schools -- Penn State and South Carolina -- are standing out.

The class of 2015 offensive lineman from Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood also said two other schools -- Michigan and Notre Dame -- are showing interest and they are also high on his list.

Following a 22-10 win in the PIAA Class AAA title game against Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt at Hersey Stadium, Bates spoke to Scout.com about the win, which included a 12 minute drive, and his recruitment.
