Evans (GA) Lakeside junior safety Rashad Roundtree has been one of the hottest 2015 prospects in the nation. Since Friday, Roundtree has received scholarship offers from Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Ole Miss, Florida, and Duke.
The Buckeyes offered Roundtree last night and he's thrilled about the opportunity.
"Ohio State is a great school," commented Roundtree. "It's a great football program too. I was ecstatic when they offered. They're coming of two outstanding seasons in a row."
The staff in Columbus has already begun to let the fast-rising Georgia star how much he's wanted at Ohio State.
"They have told me how much they want me to come up and check them out on a visit," Roundtree said. "They'd be happy to have me join the class and they think I could make a difference in their program.
Roundtree has no favorites at this time as he's just starting to hit the recruiting scene. He hopes to make as many visits as possible and is in no hurry to make a college choice.
