Gerald OSU's Third Commit In Three Days

Tyler Gerald made his commitment to Ohio State on Thursday afternoon, keeping the Buckeyes' recruiting momentum rolling. The four-star offensive lineman in the class of 2016 is OSU's third commitment in as many days.

Ohio State's recruiting momentum continued with the Buckeyes eighth commitment since May 27 in the form of offensive lineman Tyler Gerald, who became the second 2016 commitment in the group.

Gerald committed while on campus for a camp at Ohio State today, becoming the third player to pledge to the Buckeyes in the past three days. The four-star prospect joins Hubbard, Ohio, running back George Hill in OSU's 2016 class.

Gerald is rated the No. 6 offensive guard in the class of 2016 and the 116th-ranked player. The Portsmouth (Ohio) Sciotoville lineman stands 6-5, 295, and was offered by Ohio State after a visit from offensive line coach Ed Warinner in May.

Scout.com will have more to come on Gerald's decision.
