Jacksonville (Fla.) Fletcher High School class of 2015 cornerback Jessie Liptrot drew lots of attention during April and May's spring evaluation period. The 6-foot-0 and 175-pound rising senior's impressive spring has led to seven scholarship offers since the end of last month.
Liptrot is also hearing from two programs who he doesn't have scholarship offers from.
"Georgia Southern, their really talking to me. I have been calling them and touching base every once in a while and I have kind of been talking to the Kentucky coach. He (Kentucky assistant coach Jimmy Brumbaugh) keeps telling me he likes what I am doing," Liptrot said.
The future college corner says most of the schools he has offers from or has been hearing from like the same things about him as a player.
"Most of them told me they like my technique, that I am a physical corner and have perfect size. I feel like my coverage is pretty good either in zone or man-to-man," finished Liptrot.
The corner, who has grown up a Florida fan, says he doesn't have any favorites at this time and plans to let the recruiting process play itself out.
