Most of those games were already known but the full schedule is now out. The first contest against a major conference foe will come Nov. 18 when the Buckeyes host Marquette in a return game from last year's trip to Milwaukee that resulted in a 52-35 victory.
Another highlight will come Dec. 2 when the Buckeyes travel to take on Louisville in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Buckeyes have won five of their last six in the annual spotlight event and are 4-3 all-time vs. Louisville.
As Christmas nears, the Buckeyes will begin play in the CBS Sports Classic on Dec. 20 vs. North Carolina at Chicago's United Center. The three-year event will match the Buckeyes up vs. Kentucky and UCLA in future seasons. Ohio State has lost five in a row to the Tar Heels, with three of those coming as early-season contests in the Thad Matta era.
The Buckeyes will also play for the fourth time at Nationwide Arena as a prelude to the NCAA Tournament games that will take place in spring at the downtown venue. OSU is 3-0 all-time in the home of the Columbus Blue Jackets, and this year's contest will come Dec. 17 vs. North Carolina A&T.
The slate also includes four games as part of the Buckeye Classic in Value City Arena. The event will run from Nov. 23-Dec. 6 and include games vs. Sacred Heart, Campbell, James Madison and Colgate.
The nonconference slate ends Dec. 22 and 27 with home games vs. Ohio foes. The Buckeyes will face Miami in the first contest and conclude the nonleague schedule after Christmas vs. Wright State.
While the 18-game Big Ten schedule has not been released, the opponents that will appear have been. The Buckeyes play home-and-home series against Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Penn State, Purdue. They'll only host Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Maryland and will only travel to Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern and Rutgers.
