Ohio State's commitments were in action the weekend of Oct. 10. Here's how the prospects and their teams fared.

Joshua Alabi, DE, Detroit Cass Tech: The Technicians (7-0, 6-0 Public School League) remained unbeaten with a 25-15 win vs. Detroit Mumford (5-3, 4-2). The game was tied 7-7 after the first quarter before Cass Tech took command by scoring 12 points before halftime.

A.J. Alexander, WR, Burke (Va.) Lake Braddock: Alexander remained on the sideline with a knee injury, but Lake Braddock (5-1, 3-0 Class 6A Conference 7) emerged with a 34-28 victory at Fairfax Woodson (2-4, 2-1).

Joey Burrow, QB, The Plains (Ohio) Athens: Burrow completed 16 of 23 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns in his squad’s 49-0 whitewash of host Pomeroy Meigs (3-4, 2-2 Tri-Valley Ohio). Zacciah Saltzman caught five of Burrow’s passes, including both touchdowns. The Bulldogs (7-0) improved to 3-0 in conference.

Danny Clark (sophomore), QB, Massillon (Ohio) Washington: Clark completed 14 of 37 yards for 233 yards during Massillon’s 23-14 loss at Youngstown Ursuline (5-2). The Tigers (5-2) led 14-13 at halftime, but the Fighting Irish rallied with 10 fourth quarter points.

Nick Conner, OLB, Dublin (Ohio) Scioto: Host Dublin Jerome earned a 36-31 win over Conner and the Fighting Irish. Conner rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort. He also blocked a punt that led to a safety, but it was not enough for Scioto (4-3, 2-2 Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal). The Celtics (3-4) evened their conference mark at 2-2.

Jashon Cornell, DE, St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall: Cornell and the defense limited visiting Roseville (3-4, 3-4 Suburban East) in a 34-7 victory for the Raiders (5-2, 5-2). Maxwell Jackson led the Cretin-Derham Hall attack with three touchdown passes.

Carlton Davis, S, Miami Norland: A battle of district unbeatens ended as a lopsided affair, with visiting Miami Central taking a 35-0 victory. Anthony Jones led the Rockets (6-1, 2-0 District 16-6A) with 131 yards and three touchdowns. Norland (3-2, 2-1) trailed 14-0 at halftime.

Jamel Dean, CB, Cocoa, Fla.: Dean caught a 49-yard touchdown pass on offense just three plays into the game, helping Cocoa (5-1) earn a 19-3 win at Daytona Beach Seabreeze (1-5).

Kevin Feder, OT, Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep: Host Paramus Catholic (6-0) knocked off the Ironmen (3-1) in a key New Jersey rivalry showdown. The Paladins took a 21-14 win on a 19-yard touchdown pass from Willy Hansen to Marquis Spence in the fourth quarter.

Tyler Gerald (junior), OG, Portsmouth (Ohio) Sciotoville East: The Tartans (3-4, 0-2 Southern Ohio Conference I) fell 16-0 to visiting Willow Wood Symmes Valley (4-2, 2-1). East was limited to 72 yards of total offense.

Eric Glover-Williams, RB, Canton (Ohio) McKinley: Glover-Williams rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns to lead McKinley (3-4, 3-1 Federal League) to a 37-7 win at crosstown rival Canton GlenOak (4-3, 2-1). Glover-Williams scored on runs of 8 and 24 yards, respectively.

Tyler Green, WR, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic: The Stags (4-3) went across the state line into Virginia and returned with a 37-31 win against Arlington (Va.) Bishop O’Connell (5-2).

George Hill (junior), RB, Hubbard, Ohio: Hill rushed for 87 yards, and Hubbard (7-0, 3-0 All-American National) earned a 40-10 win against visiting Canfield (3-4, 0-2). Fellow rusher Larry Scott added four touchdowns.

Justin Hilliard, MLB, Cincinnati St. Xavier: The Bombers (5-2, 2-1) earned a share of the Greater Catholic League South title with a 24-21 win at Cincinnati La Salle (6-1, 1-1). Hilliard made three tackles and recovered a fumble. He also rushed for nine yards on two carries. Myles Homan gave the Bombers the victory with a 16-yard field goal as time expired.

Dre'Mont Jones, DE, Cleveland St. Ignatius: Jones caught a touchdown pass on offense, and the Wildcats (5-2) routed visiting Erie (Pa.) McDowell (3-4) 41-10. Two St. Ignatius quarterbacks, Jacob Kucia and Dennis Grosel, combined to throw three touchdown passes. Jones’ score was on a 10-yard connection with Grosel in the second quarter.

Liam McCullough, LS, Worthington (Ohio) Kilbourne: The Wolves (5-2, 3-1 Ohio Capital Conference Capital) defeated visiting Columbus Franklin Heights (1-6, 0-4) 34-12. Isaiah Young led Kilbourne with 213 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Josh Moore, TE, Olathe (Kan.) North: Olathe North improved to 7-0 (6-0 Sunflower) with a 41-14 win against visiting Shawnee Mission North (0-7, 0-7). No details were available.

Grant Schmidt, OT, Sioux Falls (S.D.) Roosevelt: The Roughriders (6-1, 3-1 Greater Dakota) were dominant in a 51-29 win against visiting Rapid City Stevens (2-5, 0-4). Roosevelt led 29-0 after the first quarter.

Alex Stump, WR, Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward: The latest prospect to give his verbal commit to Ohio State is out for the season because of a foot sprain. The Eagles (5-2) blanked Saint Catharines (Ontario) Canada Prep 42-0.

Denzel Ward, CB, Macedonia (Ohio) Nordonia: Ward blocked an extra point attempt and caught a 65-yard touchdown pass on offense in a 52-19 rout of host Copley (4-3, 1-3 Suburban). Nordonia (7-0, 4-0 Suburban) was led by David Murray, who completed 13 of 21 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
