Ohio State's commitments were in action the weekend of Oct. 24. Here's how the prospects and their teams fared.

Joshua Alabi, DE, Detroit Cass Tech: The Technicians (9-0) claimed their second consecutive Public School League championship with a 39-7 win against Detroit Martin Luther King (8-1) at Ford Field. Michigan commit Mike Weber led Cass Tech with 179 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

A.J. Alexander, WR, Burke (Va.) Lake Braddock: The Bruins (6-2, 4-1 Class 6A Conference 7) posted a 52-7 win against Alexandria T.C. Williams (2-6, 0-4). No other details were available.

Jerome Baker, OLB, Cleveland Benedictine: Baker rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the first half, and the Bengals (8-1, 4-0 North Coast Blue) cruised to a 26-7 win vs. Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit (6-4, 3-2). He finished with seven carries for 77 yards on offense out of the wildcat.

Rashod Berry, TE, Lorain, Ohio: Berry caught a 63-yard touchdown from quarterback Eddie Williamson during a 32-14 win for Lorain (6-3, 3-2 Lake Erie) at Cleveland Heights (2-6, 1-4). The Titans never trailed.

Joey Burrow, QB, The Plains (Ohio) Athens: Burrow had another big game, throwing six touchdown passes and no interceptions during a 77-14 Senior Night win vs. Bidwell River Valley (4-6, 1-6 Tri-Valley Ohio). Burrow completed 8 of 11 passes for 257 yards to lead the Bulldogs (9-0, 5-0).

Danny Clark (sophomore), QB, Massillon (Ohio) Washington: The Tigers fell to 6-3 with a 28-20 loss to visiting Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary (8-2). Clark completed 15 of 22 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown – a fourth-quarter 18-yard connection with Reggie Rogers.

Nick Conner, OLB, Dublin (Ohio) Scioto: Scioto (5-4, 3-3 Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal) posted a 13-7 win vs. Hilliard Bradley (5-4, 3-3). Conner is out for the season because of a knee injury.

Jashon Cornell, DE, St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall: The Raiders (6-3) concluded their season with an upset 27-21 loss to visiting White Bear Lake (3-4) the first round of the Minnesota State High School League Class 6A playoffs. Brendan Whalen threw a game-winning 59-yard touchdown pass to Andy Lockwood with a little more than five minutes remaining in regulation. Cornell forced a fumble in a losing effort.

Carlton Davis, S, Miami Norland: Visiting Miami Booker T. Washington (9-0) won its 35th consecutive game, besting Norland (3-3) 28-14. The Tornadoes led 28-0 at halftime before Davis and the Vikings shut them out in the second half, but it was not enough.

Jamel Dean, CB, Cocoa, Fla.: Dean caught two touchdown passes on offense, and Cocoa (7-1, 3-0 Class 4A District 5) cruised 45-0 past Port Orange Atlantic (2-6, 1-2). He caught TD passes of 43 and 9 yards, respectively, and grabbed four balls on the night for 69 yards.

Kevin Feder, OT, Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep: Rival Oradell Bergen Catholic (6-2) got a touchdown run by Corey Russo to emerge with a 10-3 win against the Ironmen (4-2). The game was a defensive struggle with the teams combining to put 16 times.

Tyler Gerald (junior), OG, Portsmouth (Ohio) Sciotoville East: The Tartans (4-5, 1-3) racked up its first Southern Ohio Conference I victory of the season, 57-6 against visiting Franklin Furnace Green (2-7, 0-4). East rushed for 453 yards, led by Akia Brown’s 163 yards with three touchdowns.

Eric Glover-Williams, RB, Canton (Ohio) McKinley: Glover-Williams topped the 1,000-yard mark for the season but was limited to 47 yards and no touchdowns in a 21-13 loss for McKinley (3-6, 3-3 Federal League) at Youngstown Boardman (2-7, 2-3). Mario Graziani led the Spartans with 185 yards rushing and three TDs.

Tyler Green, WR, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic: DeMatha (6-3, 4-1 Washington Catholic) rallied from a two-score halftime deficit and earned a 28-20 win at Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga (6-2, 3-2). Tailback Lorenzo Harrison rushed for 155 yards, 82 coming in the second half.

Kierre Hawkins (junior), TE, Maple Heights, Ohio: Maple Heights (8-1, 6-0 Lake Erie League) fell 20-19 to visiting Euclid (4-5, 3-3). A fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Terry Duckworth to Aaron Berry and an extra point by Shawn Hoffman provided the winning score.

George Hill (junior), RB, Hubbard, Ohio: Hill rushed for 151 yards as Hubbard (9-0) earned a 41-10 win at Canal Fulton Northwest (3-6). Hill also scored three TDs, and Larry Scott added 153 yards and three scores.

Justin Hilliard, MLB, Cincinnati St. Xavier and Dre'Mont Jones, DE, Cleveland St. Ignatius: Hilliard forced a fumble, recorded a sack and posted six tackles in taking bragging rights against Jones. St. Xavier (7-2) defeated St. Ignatius 24-10. Jones had seven tackles for the Wildcat (6-3).

Liam McCullough, LS, Worthington (Ohio) Kilbourne: McCullough caught a 5-yard touchdown pass in a 34-14 win for Kilbourne (6-3, 4-2 Ohio Capital Conference Capital) vs. New Albany (4-5, 3-3). He also added a two-point conversion reception in the win.

Grant Schmidt, OT, Sioux Falls (S.D.) Roosevelt: The Rough Riders (7-1) had an open week and will begin Class 11AAA postseason play Oct. 30 vs. Rapid City Stevens (3-5).

Alex Stump, WR, Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward: Stump is out for the season because of a foot sprain. The Eagles (7-2) won 24-10 at Cincinnati Moeller (6-3).

Denzel Ward, CB, Macedonia (Ohio) Nordonia: Ward intercepted a pass, blocked a punt and caught two touchdown passes on offense in a 34-13 Senior Night victory for Nordonia (9-0, 6-0 Suburban) vs. Richfield Revere (5-4, 3-3).
