Buckeyes In The NFL: Week 9

Taking a look at the best performances by former Ohio State players in Week 9 of the 2014 NFL season.

It was a week of big plays for Ohio State players in the NFL, as Bradley Roby and Donte Whitner came up with interceptions, but a game-winning play by James Laurinaitis helped him take home top honors this week.

LB James Laurinaitis (St. Louis Rams)
Came up with the game-saving play in a 13-10 win against San Francisco when he recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchback in the final seconds of the game.

“When Jo-Lonn went up, I just went to try to go down and meet him head to head down there and as I’m going down, I just see the ball sitting there,” Laurinatis told StLouisRams.com. “Usually in a scrum like that, you’ve got to show the ref quick, make sure they know the ball was out. So I did that, and the ref made the correct call.”
