BSB TV: Buckeyes Prepare For Morehead State

The Buckeyes (7-1) are coming off a 52-point win over High Point and look to keep rolling tomorrow night as Morehead State comes to Columbus

Coming off a 52-point beat down of High Point Wednesday, Ohio State plays Morehead State tomorrow afternoon, another nonconference opponent that the Buckeyes are expected to handle easily.

Head coach Thad Matta said that he is happy with the way his team has started games this season, especially given the level of competition and the lack of energy in Value City Arena.

Part of the reason for the Buckeyes energy to start games may be freshman Jae'sean Tate. Matta has said the team feeds off the forwards energy and senior Sam Thompson agreed, adding that Tate doesn't even need to be on the court to have an impact on the team.

After starting the season on a blistering pace, point guard Shannon Scott's production has dropped off in recent games. Matta spoke about how the senior is bouncing back from some uneven play.
