BSB TV: Matta And Scott Prepare For NC A&T

Head coach Thad Matta and starting point guard Shannon Scott talk about the season so far and preview tomorrow's game against North Carolina A&T.

The Buckeyes head downtown tomorrow to face North Carolina A&T at Nationwide Arena. Because that venue is set to host NCAA tournament games this season, it must be used for a college game during the regular season.

Ohio State elected to play there days before they travel to Chicago to take on North Carolina, making it their first of two contests away from home this week.

Head coach Thad Matta spoke about what he hopes his team can gain playing away from Value City Arena.

Two weeks removed from their first loss of the season, a 64-55 loss at Louisville Dec. 2, point guard Shannon Scott spoke about what the team has gained from that experience.

Heading in to their ninth game of the season, Matta said he was pleased with how the young players have mixed with the upperclassmen. The Buckeyes have three true fershmen, a redshirt freshmen, one sophomore, four seniors and a fifth year senior in their rotation.
