The Buckeyes have needed a defensive tackle in the class, and Landers fits the bill at 6-1, 285 pounds. The former West Virginia commit is noted for his quick first step and athletic ability despite his lack of height, drawing comparisons to such players as OSU All-American Michael Bennett and former Pittsburgh star Aaron Donald for those attributes.
Landers also notes that his passion is sports ever since falling in love with football in third grade "because you can hit people without getting in trouble," and that he hopes to earn a sports administration degree at OSU.
