On Saturday head coach Thad Matta, senior Sam Thompson and freshman Jae’Sean Tate addressed what went right against the Wildcats, whey they expect from the Hoosiers and the state of the Buckeyes.
Indiana is the first of two straight home games for Ohio State after a stretch with four of five on the road. Thompson spoke about the importance of protecting home court in league play.
Tate and Anthony Lee started in place of Marc Loving and Amir Williams against Northwestern and Matta said that the starting spots are still being competed for in practice. The coach did say that a smaller lineup may work well against the Hoosiers.
Tate spoke about getting his first career start.
Matta said that Loving and Williams handled not starting well and that he hoped the team turned a corner with their come-from-behind win at Northwestern.
