Hamilton Makes Ohio State Pledge

Ohio State's 2015 recruiting class hit 25 members when Pickerington (Ohio) Central defensive tackle Davon Hamilton gave his pledge to the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has been looking for two defensive tackles in the class of 2015 and the Buckeyes got to that point Monday when three-star defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton of Pickerington (Ohio) Central gave his pledge.

The Buckeyes moved up to No. 5 in the nation with the pledge from Hamilton, who decommitted from Kentucky to make the choice to commit to the hometown team. Hamilton joins fellow in-state pledge Robert Landers, a four-star prospect from Huber Heights Wayne, among defensive tackles in the class.

The 6-4, 285-pounder is rated the No. 54 defensive tackle in the nation and the No. 40 player in Ohio. He will join Pickerington natives Jacoby Boren and Patrick Elflein on the roster when he arrives in the summer.
